The main reason to establish filmmaking school in the world capitol of the movie industry was that as a new immigrant to U.S.A. almost twenty years ago, I took me years asking people how to get into Hollywood's show business. Responses that I have received were unclear, they contradicted with other responses, were old-fashioned, etc. Only after getting absolutely frustrated about the un-helpful responses and hearing over and over that first I need to get rid of my strong accent, I have found my way through "door into Hollywood". Suddenly I decided to stop spending money on useless classes and seminars, took my disadvantages and converted them into my advantages, found a talent manager and not one, but two agents and have started auditioning for real Hollywood projects and soon after booked my first job.

Recently I taught a predominantly foreign group of actors at UCLA Extension. I had all of a sudden remembered my struggles in 1990's. Nothing changed. Twenty years later foreigners coming to Hollywood are struggling and guessing the right ways into Hollywood.
